How it works

## What is it?

Some engagements cannot be scoped from a conversation. The codebase is large, the requirements are still forming, or the stakeholder alignment is not there yet. Committing to a fixed-price outcome without understanding what you have would be a mistake for both of us.

Discovery is the bridge. In 3–5 days, we read what you have, talk to the people who matter, and produce a specific, priced proposal for the next phase. If the work is not ready to start — because the codebase is in worse shape than expected, or the requirements change — you find out in 5 days, not after a 6-week engagement.

Discovery is priced at cost. If you proceed to the next phase, the discovery fee is credited against the project.
